    Why do people give advice to keep these clowns behind the wheel. It's obvious his heavy foot is more important than his license. So if he doesn't give a crap about it. Why should we?

    Most companies fire people after the third moving violation in 3 years. Is he even employed? What does this cats csa score look like? Who would want or what insurance company would allow a company to hire this dude.

    Let the freaking idiots. Who can't be professional and take care of their license fall off the map. I'm sure it would be less idiots blocking you when you try to leave the truck stops.

    Dinomite: Why do people give advice to keep these clowns behind the wheel;

    Myself, I will take the time to research their question, think about my response before I write a reply.
    After giving advice, if the driver operates safe then, great. If not, the State will remove their choice for them.

    Ask yourself this, what conduct do you facilitate...?

    Im not sure captain save a trucker!! But just by researching what has been posted safety is not on this dudes bucket list. Keeping his license to get more speeding tickets. Seems to be more on the agenda.

    So to all the people in the peanut gallery. Don't be like that sucker. Stop feeding the Bears!!

    I got tagged for 72 in a 55 (at least I think it was that) in NY a while back. I spoke to a few of my customers in the area and one put me onto a friend of his that works at the county courthouse. I called the friend and told her we have a mutual acquaintanace. She told me call this guy...let's call him "Mr. Plea". I called Mr. Plea and $375 later my 72/55 was a parking ticket. Mr. Plea is in that court 4 days a week and knows all the judges and prosecutors. That's how things get done.

    Laws are constantly changing or another one gets implemented.I personally think a 60 day suspension is nothing compared to how many tickets your good driver friend has gotten over the last few yrs.Don't be surprised if his suspension may be longer.

    Yep. Just another instance of our "justice system" being nothing more than a "legal system." Still, I'm kinda glad you got out of that one, unless you make a habit of it, that is.;)

    Thanks Don. Here's the way I see it; in that case, as is the case with most people that get these tickets......I was guilty of speeding no question about it. Did I get off? No. It cost me $375 in legal fees + IIRC $175 for the parking ticket. I don't care how many speeding tickets someone gets, if he has driven hundreds of thousands of miles accident free then that driver shouldn't lose his lisence. The state gets their money, I get punished for a moment if inattention, the freight continues to move and I continue to pay income tax. Everyone wins. Sort of.

    Just dumb to yank someone's lisence for tickets. Fines and insurance premiums are plenty of punishment.

    Well, I think it sort of depends on what the tickets are for, don't you?

    Truckers, busses, cabs, airportshuttles, should all be able to run 10 over..

    Op? you just got bad luck man...you can kill one with traffic survival school 10 4?....program still exist?

    For the other, go pay a shady speedometer/tranny shop to make you a receipt for a 12 mph adjust...show the reciept to the judge..

    I got one that drills officer on proper speedgun) calibration techniques, they usually fail it...The older they are the better at failing it
