I really liked Mev, it's too bad he banned himself. Or could you be? Nah.
If I haven't been fired for all my posts, then surely no one can be. And my quallcom comments and phone calls.
But I don't work for Poly and Crete was suppose to terminate me this spring. All it did was make me more mouthy.

They(Crete) threatened me with termination for my posting when I had that face-to-face with 2 VP's years ago...until I reminded them of how much worse my abuse would be if I were no longer employed and semi-controlable by them...they got the hint.

But when I logged on their website, under Terminal Manager, it always and now it again says DonnaJenkins, but for a while it said "terminated" and that was when I got pulled in for a "talk" where when I left the room the 2 office girls were grinning. I think flik and flak who were suppose to ax me are gone,
But I was there last week, yakking in the lobby to a new hire, and Debbie was talking to Donna on the phone, and Debbie said that Dennis was here talking in the lobby. Hey only my first name, We are tight, me and my gals, ;) I was warning him that there was a reason crete hire 300 drivers a week,. And that he'd find out in about 90 days why.

Mev ! , I've heard of that cat :bounce:
Anyways , I wouldn't hold my breath on Poly
    doing anything differently.
You know what they say " you can wish in one
hand and crap in the other " see which one fills
    up quicker .

My wish , if I had one would be that they turn on the E Logs right now.
In my mind it would distance me from them and them from me once and for all .
It would become a 100% professional working environment.

WTF are you talking about ? Poly doesn't ask or expect anyone to run illegal which is the only reason I can think of why you would say that.
I love paper logs, just because I'm tired or get a flat tire and it shuts me down for 4 hours doesn't mean the load gets rescheduled or repowered. If a truck stop is full and the next one is 40 miles down the road, no big deal.

Its water under the bridge now ArmyGuy , got upset over a shipping situation a while back. Made me feel bad cause i was doing my job to the letter of the FMCSA and they thought i should do more.
    I Learned my lesson :)
Keep it transparent , Emergency O/B text @ 2 hours + a QualCom msg to back it up.
Emergency O/B Msg + QC Msg once loaded .....and let it evolve from there.
( this also explains the lingering bitterness , it's a difficult state to shake off if one isn't aware of it )
( I'll feel much better when I am in range to punch
    his lights out )

( As cow tipper stated below , the person injected how much $$ " I " am costing these people, it's coercion , and it's very illegal , next time it occurs I may go to the DOT )( but then my plan to not have to listen to them on the phone may work out to, I recall DOT drama at my last job , it's a hassle , but the law will respond if alerted )( Wing Attack plan R )

Why would a dispatcher do this I ask myself ,
People pleasing their way to the top eh ?
Most of the good ones left when the realized
Poly doesn't let them go up the ladder ,
    sucka :)

(PS : Im pretty uptight , i don't stretch my logbook
But I did save a lot on my car insurance by switch to Gecko )

Swift ? Oh my no ! Gotta fight the good fight o_O
    Poly is worth saving

I've decided to reduce controversy by simply replying to all the other post right here in this slot ..... It will be like a ~ stream of consciousness ~phenomenon ,
It will grow to the size of Godzilla. and eat all the other post
    :)

You fellas knock it off , the Blessed Lord did not complain .

Truckers like to listen to them selves talk !
Ha!.... " Mr Green , you've been listening to that voice in your head for so long , you believe it to be you "

If elected I vow to deport ALL paper logs
    along with Hilary :bounce:

    Victimization is the psychological dynamic
that I was forgetting . (aka, a belief seeking evidence , origins in guilt , needing to find failure in something to validate belief ,blah blah etc )

You haven't been here long enough. One of the out bound guys will pressure you to, as he phrases it, "make it work". Then if you refuse, he berates you, and gets very intimidating. And since he is one of the guys who have to work out home time loads, he can make getting home very difficult as payback. He has even gone so far as to blame the cost associated with scheduling changes on the driver. The words he used according to the driver in question "do you know how much you are costing this company by making me reschedule?" He must have been a dispatcher for a regular freight hauling company with his attitude.

As for floating time on your log book...better cover your arse. If something happens, you'll get thrown under the bus in a heartbeat. Remember the earlier post about costing them money? If they get fined or major CSA points because of a log book violation after an incident, they will escort you to either the bus station or the car rental office of your choice.

And put me down in favor of e-logs as well. Had them with previous companies, and hated going back to paper. In fact, it had been so long since I put pen to paper on a log book, I almost had to take a refresher course. But, log books are like falling of a horse, once you've done it, you never forget how.

Why don't you guys just go to crete or swift that have e logs and your problems will be solved. Or better yet get your own truck so you can make your own rules. So much whine with this cheese it's not funny. We all know things are not going to change. Crap or get off the pot and ##### quit. Why don't you just quit and find a job more to your liking. Oh wait I know I know you all are looking or don't want to job hunt/hop or your wife's typewriter broke so you can't put in applications elsewhere.
I bet in a year the same people will still be here moaning and groaning about how poly is keeping them here against their will.

I hear Hillary and Donald need help with their campaigns, be a good fit for some of you. Whine and complaining and lots of finger pointing.
