Got to pull the head to do injector cups. That's part of the head, not the injector.

No. Injector cups are made of brass and pressed into the head with an opening for the injector tip to shoot fuel into the combustion chamber. while I'm not discounting the possibility of someone being good enough to figure out how to cut the old ones out, it would be real easy to ruin a head that way.

 

Yay, get over to my pick up at 9 this morning, only to be told that my appt is for 4pm and that they were still putting it together, which is why they told the agent they didn't want me until later. Problem is, agent told me FCFS, had to be picked up before 3. Maybe I can get a nap in after lunch.

 

Yea they wont pay for my injectors. they are 732 each one.. Why do i even have this warranty if they wont pay for it?

 

It's been said that those aftermarket warranties are useless. And $732 for each one? I think Blair got his for $3500 for all 6

 

Well NTP agreed to only pay for 3 IF i pay for 3... They dont wanna replace em all as they are not offical bad they claim. This dealer said they are gonna try to get me a good deal on the injectors. Was told a injector head if it breaks can wipe a piston out. Is that part true?

 

Yup .... Broken injector can and usually is catastrophic ....
