Don't you remember me jiving you about becoming a Uber driver, a few months ago. That was before you and Ray went on that gambling & boozing spree in Las Vegas.
-
Lets say its $900 after taxes. Can you find another job on w2 paying that for a dedicated run with guaranteed weekly home time? If yes, go for it. If not get this job and dont listen to all the BS. There are other factors to consider, not just 1099 and w2
Night_driver and JB3 Thank this. -
Hold up mister,Ray and I never went on any gambling and boozing spree in Vegas.I don't do neither. We went to Vegas to see his dad for his 77th birthday. But I do remember you telling me about UBER taxi service.Chinatown Thanks this.

Nothing at all just don't care for ppl making wrong assumptions about me.Ray goes to hardrock once a week eats at the buffet then gambles his free money they give him.I stay home I never was into casinos.Drinking,Ray doesn't drink and last time I drank was in the 80's.FLATBED Thanks this.

I'd take the job better then working for a mega even with the 1099.

last time I drank was in the 80's.
gee you must be thirsty
JB3, Dominick253 and D32 Thank this. -
Exhausted because you have to shift? Geez, chinatown, why do you even bother driving at all? Shifting gears is part of the job, and if you're any good you don't even have to think about it. I learned how to drive in an old '47 Mack with a 5x4 trans, and I would have the same setup today if I could.
