From what I've been told they went to each coordinater and asked for 7 truck numbers. Idk, I wasn't here then, I was an outside brokerage carrier but was at the yard quite often dropping off bols and invoices. And when people talked, I listened.

 

they basically let go problem guys , with safety problems etc. it wasn't random trucks for no reason at all.

 

while the deal in 2008 and 09 was bad, I don't think we are anywhere near that point. I don't go for gloom and doom to that extent. it has always ebbed and flowed. odd thing is , I am having the best year this year out of 5 at mercer, and 3 out of 4 Januarys here , January has been my highest revenue month. this year I changed up things a bit, and in January , don't know it just to fall into place. one thing is I work the heck out of 10 day weather forecast to avoid big shutdowns , must be working

 

I didn't mean to imply it was random. I'm under the impression a LOT of the decision was put in the coordinators hands. The guys that aren't dependable, hard to work with, generally difficult to get along with. That sort of thing.

yep probably got a list of the worst guys and then they were weeded out from there, I suppose
