Haha. Me too. But I'm not complaining.
Personally I would take the roof off. You should see a good increase in MPG. No matter what anyone says this is a business and we are here to make money. Every penny counts and unless you are hauling large loads all the time then you will make more money with it off. Last I checked that was why we were all here.TruckerPete1990 and blacklabel Thank this. -
You will save some fuel on short loads, and lose LOTS on tall loads. loading a can is my worst mpg loads. Just so much flat surface sticking up over my roof. but also, there is a huge gap between the back of my cab and the front of the can.

So, anyone unlucky enough to be in the LA area? Looks like I'm taking the weekend off. Nothing but garbage loads getting out before the weekend so I took a load for wednesday. I'm hoping a short run pops up for tuesday, but if not, no big deal. It's opening weekend for college football, so not a bad weekend to take a break.
Bucktrucker Thanks this. -

So it's time to go put a load on this new truck. Really enjoyed having dinner and talking with skateboardman and flightline on the yard last night. It's the people that still make me love Mercer.
