You want to file a class action because a company gave you less miles 20 years ago? Or am I missing something?

There was people still on it still.. but people always talk #### about these companies when it's not the company it's the drivers..

 

Often times , it's the company.
JB still has a bad reputation. It's hard to get rid of a reputation as bad as theirs.
I notice JB Hunt defenders almost always blame the former drivers. Maybe they teach that in orientation.

 

Company suck ups are always anti-driver, former and present. They're all lazy good for nothing free loaders, in their opinion.

 

Not if it involves physical activity. The law is written to protect driver fatigue! Something you wouldn't know driving a pneumatic armchair!

 

No, JBHunt is converting to 80% Intermodal. Those of us running Long Haul as Independents pay attention to the freight trains hauling JBHunt and sister co/Schneider 53' Double Stacked Dry and Reefer Boxes. That's 1300 feet of train minimum, moving twice your load every 64'.
They hit the Corporate Retaillers up for Contracts hauling "Dedicated" from rail yard in major city, to distribution. 40mi truck haul compared to 1,400! Not rocket science.

I had no choice but run 2 logs, having longest haul into Eastern AZ, Northern WY (Staples and Dahl Tile), MT(Home Depot), and Kansas(Starelite to Starlite Lake Havasu). $1.27mi plus surcharge came to $1.57 and 10 month 1099 $127,000 gross. Fuel tax and IFTA refund $17,940 after all write-offs, for adjusted NET INCOME $145,000. Mileage on truck for that period: 87,000

The truck would have 700,000 Miles on it, resale value $19,640 based on 5 year market index.
