Perhaps full service in this day and age means it's there if want to pay for what services they do provide. How many truck stops provide what a petro does ?
Is there more to it ? No one has serviced my rig at the pump but me.

The Love's in Hutchins TX was having some sort of 'full service' special a week ago. It wasn't driver appreciation related, I think it had something to do with the Childrens charity they're taking donations for right now...but the flyer posted said they were fueling trucks and washing windows on that day.

You know. If they paid some kid min wage to do all that then tell the driver to move it over to the parking ..they'd probably get a lot more trucks through. I avoid fuel stops known to have trucks perpetually parked at the pumps.
