Well, let the job hunt begin. After 7 years with this place, I have had enough. This has been the worst year to date. One stupid thing with Swift after anothe . All too often nowadays. Incompetent everything from drivers, planners, csr's and dm's. This place has really gone down the tubes when they started hiring way to many drivers because of those drive cams.

2 years for me, our little fleet gets drive cams monday. We'll see how it goes, most are not optimistic about them.

Swift truck passed me the other day, I could clearly see the dashcam in the middle of his windshield pointing straight back toward the sleeper, but I guess it probably has a fisheye lens to see everything. Poor fellow looked stiff sitting up ramrod straight with both hands on the wheel ever so careful not to kiss a painted line in the road.

The drive cams aren't the problem with me really. I'm a "glorified company driver", so I won't get one.

It's the planners who don't plan, dm's who are absolutely clueless and csr's who didn't even graduate high school. Their is absolutely no driver support with this company from anywhere in the office.

It all started really bad when the drive cam issue came up and Swift hired a #### ton of new drivers when the others didn't even leave yet. Notice the no freight in just about everywhere you go? They say it's the economy. I say BS.

    fr8monkey Thanks this.

Go to the O/O on here section. They've been complaining about no freight and low rates for most of the year.

Personally, I'm on pace to be in the 125K to 128K range for miles again this year.

I get the paying loads too. On a command load now that pays more than swift rate. That's not the problem. It's the office staff here at Swift that is the joke. No driver support. I was just stating that it got bad when the cam issue came up, this mass hiring of drivers may have the office people going ape ####!

I've noticed the opposite happening ... with the call the planners program and the In Guage rating system ... staff have been falling all over themselves to be helpful ... but then, maybe it's just my charming personality

The Peelot in Havasau. Picked up this load and I can never remember having to fill out so much paperwork and sign and initial. Could not believe all the traffic at 5 this morning heading South on I-15 out of Vegas and then getting up Cajon was a real joy.
