E-470 is toll, C-470 isn't.
Swift will never route us on that toll road, and that part of the road is going in the opposite direction.
I've been routed the same way a couple times.
It adds a lot more time and takes a lot more fuel. But the routing software is fairly stupid in this case.
Newbie fueling question.

That's funny, I thought it was a Swift specific policy to stay off the 470 toll road-- i recall seeing that posted at the Denver terminal a while back.
I recommend just get in the saddle and run south on I25 and about an hour before you are to hit one of Swift's preferred fuel stops, pull over and send a message requesting reopt. -
they shouldn't send it if they don't mean it

Not sure if SWIFT pay actual or practical miles. If it's actual stay on the longer route no matter what, if it is practical do what you feel you need to do.

I have done that route in the past and if you are heavy that route is a pita.

What a disaster. These companies and their fuel routing lol. Run 70 extra miles to save 2 pennies

If it helps, every Swift I'm behind at the fuel island seems to wait till the last minute to request that their fuel card be turned on
