Former Arrow Trucking Co. CEO James Douglas “Doug” Pielsticker is asking a judge to go easy on him when he is sentenced next month...

...Records indicate that Pielsticker spent a portion of the company’s funds to fuel a lavish lifestyle that included a mansion, jewelry, a wedding, and Bentley and Maserati automobiles...

Work has been hard to find, Pielsticker states in the court document. He said he has worked as an Uber driver but has since left that job amid the company’s concerns about his case, the memo claims.

After leaving the Uber position, Pielsticker worked as an “independent driver,” working off relationships with “doorman and valets at Dallas hotels.”

More recently, Pielsticker said, he has worked as a residential real estate broker for Coldwell Banker...

What I want to know, is how someone who plead guilty to conspiracy and tax evasion managed to get a real estate license??!!

You have to know the rules better than anyone else to successfully break them. So I've heard anyways.

Be quite funny if he happened to pick up an ex Arrow driver on his Uber rounds. Make for a short ride in the woods.

I know this is an old thread, but I found a good article that fleshed out Arrow Trucking and Doug Pielsticker. I never knew that his old man (then CEO) died in a plane accident while hunting in Canada.

14 years after tragic plane crash, Pielsticker name still making headlines

I'd bet that most truckers today haven't heard of Arrow Trucking and don't know about how royally their drivers got hosed just before Christmas eleven years ago. If anyone knows what became of Doug after he was let out of prison early in May of 2020 feel free to share.
