If you sit along time,its because you want to or don't know any better.you have to get on the computer or phone and do what owner ops do,locate loads and negotiate.a driver can be his/her own best friend or worst nightmare.its all in the motivation and learning from mistakes.i know several drivers from eagle who do extremely well because they look for loads,negotiate price and deliver ontime.they don't sit and gripe and whine,they workkkkkkkkkkkk

 

that's what I like,is the coils,and anything steel or aluminum.

 

Spoke to one Eagle driver today, she missed her appointment due to 70 hour clock running out and had to sit 4 extra days on the load to deliver (holidays). She said she hasn't had a positive paycheck in 4 weeks.

 

Don't know about the four weeks without positive pay but the sitting four days because running out of 70 is poor planning and her own fault.

 

before accepting a load,make sure you have the time on the clock.that includes leaving extra time for emergencies etc.have to pay attention and be serious and committed

 

the love of the loanstar is basically that the truck is made for long haul comfort for drivers who are serious about working hard and being able to be comfortable while they are away from home

You dont know what your talking about.father owns one,son owns the other and in feb they merge together.i work for them and what i see on here is mainly people who either dont have the experience to o/o or just want loads handed to them.i do quite well and dont know anyone with eagle who doesnt that is serious about working..
