love's ... wtf?

I've been to some nice Love's, some not so nice one. Ditto for Petro, TA and Flying J. I cannot say I have ever been in a Pilot and thought to meself "Well, isn't this nice?". It's usually more like "Don't step in that, ew."

 

That's why Pilot changed their shower towels from white to brown. When the toilets overflow they use the trucker shower towels to soak it all up. White towels are ruined but brown you can't tell.

 

I did that last month in Louisiana. I thought I was going to get arrested. There was a rest area hidden under a stretch of swamp bridge. Maybe the Atchafalaya Welcome Center. I went into a stall and I noticed a little stainless steel box on the wall. I open it and it was a little trash can that had a wrapper from a tampax pearl. What is this nonsense? I was thinking some social progressive weirdness has come to Louisiana. I washed my hands and while drying my hands I noticed five women outside looking in at me like I'm a freak. It occurs to me I'm in the women's. As I was leaving they asked me if there were any other men in the women's restroom. I thought about saying something witty about not judging a book by its cover but decided not to.

 

I give away showers to other drivers all the time, who told you that you can't?

 

The manager at the Loves in Leroy Illinois. His exact words were "We dont normally allow that because we make money off our showers" I replied "Well this guy is just starting out, and he doesnt have any credits so I'd like to use one of mine for him." His next reply pissed me off "Well I'll allow it this one time, but don't ask again"

 

I personally haven't seen a love's yet that doesn't allow team showers on one credit. tho I have seen a few that shut off pumps in the fuel island just under 50 gallons if you're getting just 50 gallons .. best go for 55. I've had few give a free team shower and solo occasionally the points and shower credit isn't added to your rewards card, an easy fix for company driver's is to always get a fuel receipt for proof before you leave the fuel stop. they'll add it at the next stop.

 

Loves seems to be hit or miss like a lot of em. The one in three rivers is decent while the one west of Houston on eye10 is a filthy nasty slum.

Make sure when you do that that you pee on the seat then leave it up when you're done and don't flush . We guys have a reputation to uphold .

 

hang your jacket on the gap or tp, some already have tp hung.. but please stop urinating on the seats.. thats digusting

I could care less how you wipe just please leave the stall clean... by the way I knock if I'm not sure a stall is free.
