Okay for the final time I'm going to visit this thread, the speed limit on that particular section is 45mph. Right at the beginning of the video I had crossed a set of extremely rough railroad tracks the are a bit smoother in the left lane. I had just moved back to the right lane watching my mirror. As has been pointed out many times, I was not scanning as fast as some feel would have been appropriate. I did not move to the left lane because he blew straight into the left lane and even crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. I was running 7 mph under the posted speed limit, braked enough to avoid an accident, managed my lane. Only once I stopped and went back and looked at the video did I realize how fast he blew out of the driveway. That's what has me questioning this driver, we have all pulled out into a road somewhat blinded by a tree, truck, building, curve, hill you name it and seen a vehicle coming at us but I would hope we had stopped to actually look. There is no way at the speed this guy was coming out of that drive he could have looked.

I was trying to find out if Martin is a good company. I now know that they have 1 driver who blew a stop sign. I'm not trying to get involved in your discussion-does anybody out there work for them, and are they ok? Money and benefits ok?

You may be better served asking that question here...

I watched the video several times and I don't see what you describe. By the time the truck can be seen it is pulling onto the road. No, you don't see him stopped, but that doesn't mean he wasn't a moment before. And, since by the time the camera sees him, he is pulling his turn, it's likely he never saw you nor could he have. Scale is difficult to judge with a wide angle lens, so its hard to judge both distance and speed, but regardless, given what we see, it seems you were speeding for conditions. Your vision was blocked by obstructions which would dictate slower speeds.

It's gotten to the point where I think these mega-bottom feeder companies would hire Charlie Manson and the Boston strangler if they were willing to drive for .25 a mile. -

The OP obviously made a HUGE mistake by posting and complaining about another driver's error which got under his skin. He must have thought that by sharing his rant with fellow driver's he would get their support...what he got was some agreement and some criticism...the later of which got under his skin even more!
