love's ... wtf?

The company my son drives for always wants their drivers to use love's, but his previous truck got so messed up by their fuel they gave him a new truck and told him to fuel wherever he wanted. Problem solv-ed.

 

i avoid loves unless its my last option. one time i stopped at loves in houston on patton st. to get fuel and a burger for the road. dont know what they did to my burger, if they spit in it or dropped it on the floor but it was coming out of both ends the next day. they had some ghetto hood rats working the wendys

 

1 more reason to stop at the truckstop on monday and thursday night football, never miss a minute of action!!

 

I've never had an issue getting a team shower for the credit of one at Love's. What I've noticed about Love's is that their worse locations tend to be in the south while some of their better ones are in the Midwest.

 

nothing wrong with. That concept , I spent 4 years taking a crap like that.

 

When you hit platinum status and above, you have unlimited showers, there's no "credits" involved really, they're basically comping you a shower at that point. But they're still accounted for the same way. I guess each store gets a kickback from the company to cover the cost of having an employee clean and prep a shower.

Even so, I've never had a Love's not let me give a shower like that. In fact I've witnessed clerks ask drivers present at the fuel desk if they had platinum or diamond status to help out a driver who didn't have credits on his card.

 

That's what u asked the manager, he said that is because they make money from their showers.

 

That's what I've seen as well. Love's is the most lenient when it comes to comping showers. I've even seen them give drivers free showers instead of making them pay the nine dollars. Never seen any other chain do that. Plus they have the friendliest staff. Love's is great in my book.
