Johnson's Corner. Given Denver traffic this is far enough for today.

Gonna leave EARLY and try to make it to OKC tomorrow.

Finally got the truck out of KW. All warranty and after in truck On Road calls me and tells me to call tomorrow to file a complaint. What happened and all. They also told me that when dealers call them regarding our trucks (l/o) they are told to call us, we are the ones paying. Then a load, bt to Greenville and drop tomorrow in Davenport and then pu in Muscatine and off the Seattle for Monday. My DM came through for me. Got me this one that I can drop tomorrow so I am not in the hole and then this 2K load to Seattle to get a nice start on the week and he knows that he can get me out of there with a decent 800 to 1k load for Wednesday. I only have until Nov 3 before another trip overseas and he knows what has been going on.

Clear Lake, IA at teh Pilot. This load from P&G in Bear River City, Utah pays out 1203 and I'll be at 1350 when I get to IGH with it tomorrow. Swift needs to get it together, even Google maps could only give me a car routing for 1267 miles. Has anyone heard any news about the lawsuit over the HHG mileage pay lately?

Yes I got a letter from the class action people basically saying the lawyers settled with Swift in an amount where the lawyers get the maximum payout they were allowed which is a win win for Swift and the lawyers but a lose for the actual plaintiffs. By my esitmates it looks like the $500,000,000 million class action was settled for just $5,000,000 and it appears Swift has gone right on back to its old short miles ways after such a small slap on the wrist.

A different Memphis planner sent me a message yesterday saying she'll try to head me in the right direction.
I called her a bit later and she went through the board, but there was really nothing that was helpful.
She said she would leave a note to check again for me when she comes in at 0600 the next day.
It's about that time now, so I'll wait a couple hours and call her again if nothing comes in.

The thing is, I want at least one full day with my girls, and they are in school during the week. I really don't want to put it off another week. If I can get there by Saturday night I'll be happy.

    Well, she came through.
I got the pplan at 0705, a load going to Canada that I will t-call in Denver on the 23rd - my requested day.

See? Sometimes the planners really DO try.

Here at the J in Davenport, IA. Did not look at my pplan that close and then today realized that it does not pick up until late tomorrow afternoon, so means that I might have to push it just a little to get to Seattle for my first stop. Nah, run about 200 tomorrow and then with the time difference still plenty of time. After getting this issue fixe with my truck saw my fuel mileage go up almost 1.5mpg. What was going on was getting air sucked in.

I've been sitting at Exxon Mobile for the pat 5 hours waiting for my 'pre-loaded' trailer.
The pickup window is from 1300 - 2359, and they consider that window the time they have to get it loaded.

Well, this waiting time is not going to be considered a part of my 10.
If it goes too late I'll log back on and do my post trip, then off for 10 and pick it up in the morning.

You don't need to log on for a post trip, it's under the remarks for both off duty and sleeper berth.
