I run my life just like I ran businesses, I adhere to a strict, profit loss system. Question is, once I am driving what are some of the expenditure categories that would be unique to a driver. I will just be a company driver.
Thanks for your time.

Donald? That you?
-
I assume you mean things that can be itemized at tax time? ...
Communication (cell phone percentage, data percentage)
Hotel/Paid Showers
Misc (CB radio purchase/repair, misc office supplies, batteries, flashlight, emergency heat source, sleeping bag, bedding, )
Parking (home time, OTR, other non-reimbursed parking costs)
Clothing (special needs footwear, safety gear, etc)
Subscriptions (Wx, XM radio, driver magazines) (if used to keep abreast of weather events and new laws)
And there are others but gotta runKriegHund Thanks this. -
The biggest OTR expense for most people is in dining out. Keeping that to a minimum requires some planning and smart grocery shopping. Otherwise, you can easily blow 25% of your earnings getting fat out there.
Oh, and stay away from strip clubs. Not good for the profit:loss ratio.KriegHund Thanks this. -
There's a great strip club on I 75 in Florida. Food, truck parking, and free showers and cover for cdl.
KriegHund Thanks this. -
Oops, I guess I derailed the thread. Sorry about that.Chewy352 Thanks this.

Yessss!!! Ya know years ago women had the common decency to flash us on the road. I say we strike to empty out the malls. Then they'll start showing their appreciation a little more.
KriegHund and RoadRooster Thank this.
