I can drive a truck 700 miles and not be as tired or stiff as driving a car(or pickup) 2 hours. Seat position is what zaps me. In a truck, my butt is higher than my lower extremities and I can move them around in more positions to keep the muscles moving and the blood flowing. In a small vehicle, especially a small car, your legs are almost parallel with your butt, and leg room isn't abundant enough to move much.

You build up tolerances, but the guys are right, get out and walk for even five minutes once or twice makes a huge difference. Also, no caffeine, and a baby aspirin regimen help me,

Done that commute thing for a couple years, WV to 2000 Industrial Canal Mobile, AL. Had a lay down yard there, would be driving Hirail trucks all week somewhere between Jacksonville and New Orleans. Pull 4/10's then drive home, or go somewhere crazy like Toledo for an emergency run then head home. And as posted earlier car / truck usually kicks my knees up higher and is harder on me than a big truck. Take a few extra steps after you fuel or tap your kidneys, it will help. Lowering the front of the seat helps me too.

Cheap seats in cars, would be horrible driving 11 hours daily.
Truck seats are wider, swivel in every position, and are better quality.than automotive seats.
Might want to rent a few vehicles, see if you can find a more comfortable ride.

Good find, G. I once had an outlaw OTR gig where I ran 800 miles from western Ohio to eastern Connecticut. I stopped once for fuel at the tip of NJ on I-84, and that was my only pee break. The only way it can be done is to intentionally dehydrate yourself (and drive a fast truck!). Not smart. Glad I don't do that to myself any more. Not good.

Ya, you gotta get in the habit of taking breaks, really helps at the end of the day.
