Likewise, some company dry van drivers don't just slam a door and drive, some of them work their butts off hand unloading freight all day. Comparing who does the most work is rather pointless, some drivers think if you don't drive 800 miles a day you are lazy.

eeheemm, I beg to differ. I started as an owner operator and never looked back. That was in 1975. Can't do the company thing.PoleCrusher Thanks this.

Got a new one.......(and hopefully it will redirect this silly "I work harder than you do" fight.)
Pick up a relay at the Indy center that is OOS because of a flat tire. Really?? The driver writes it up for having a flat and puts it out of service, yet doesn't have the decency to take it to the shop and have it fixed.
There's your colostomy bag.......... -
I was going to suggest he could have at least told someone from maintenance about it and they could have fixed it and put it back on the yard in under 45min without him being under it... but we know how reliable they can be at times.
Vilhiem Thanks this. -
At least it got wrote up!Vilhiem Thanks this.

At least he wrote it up, but it was at an OC. Not that hard to go and have the trailer made known to the mechanics there.
Oh...and.. I WORK HARDER THAN YOU! (Sorry. I couldn't resist.)PoleCrusher Thanks this. -

I second that. I've dropped a relay right in the express lane there. Shop said they'd take care of it.Vilhiem Thanks this.
