Accidents

Stick it out with Trans Am for at least a few months before you start making job applications elsewhere. Luckily these two accidents are pretty minor, so trying to find another job won't be impossible. Gotta be more careful next time though, especially here in my home state of NJ. The most densely populated US state is, alas, not very truck friendly.

 

Sounds like the company should be held responsible for putting a driver out on the road who apparently wasnt ready to be on his own!

You'll be alright though. Get your experience and do everything you can to not repeat those mistakes.

#### happens, but learn from your mistakes. If you are unsure at all get our and look as many times as you have to. Never rush for other people. If you stay clean from now on you can move to another company. Get some clean time before you apply and obviously don't quot until you have the new job.

 

This may be irrelevant, but, a long time ago, my grandfather had a job installing fire hydrants that automatically seal, when broken off.

Methinks that these weren't just old rusty hydrants, because car accidents were the reason they were so popular in big cities...

 

I hear that trans am like the rest are more concerned about making money then training and with only ten days that's just scratching the surface .

 

Just be aware that, with two preventables already, you are likely just one minor incident away from being fired. That would definatly affect your future employability, at least with quality companies.

 

That's simple, yet excellent advice. I'm going to have to try and remember that line for when I find myself in a tight spot.

 

I've been going up to NJ lately, and I don't pay any attention to No Truck signs. Like if I can see it before I turn down the street, then I'll Will advoid it, but if your already there, then don't worry about it. Your going to cause more of a problem stopping and backing up.
