2009 t660. Blower motor quit on me this morning. Checked and the fuse is good, and I have power to the switch. Any tips on either a temp fix to work or replacement?

If your out on the road and can't pick up a new one try giving the old motor a few taps with a light rubber banner or a flashlight or something

pretty easy to replace once you get the new one make sure you get the plastic blades as well wholes assembly comes out from outside and then it's just a matter of replacing it just make sure you do not mix the direction of the fans.

any details on how to get to the motor? I assume it is under the black cover that is under the trim panel on the pax side lower dash?

it shouldnt be last one i did like this it is actually outside by the housing for the ac evaporator the big black box on pass side i believe it has like 6 10 mil bolts it comes off and that's actually the blower housing as well. once you have that removed then you can see the blower should be about 8 8 mil bolts 4 on both sides and it comes out from one side you might have to break the old fans to remove it put the new one in first then put both new fans on one on each side. let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you. Makes sense now. I was looking all over for a diagram and didn't come up with anything. I just hate paying to have something fixed that I can do myself.

should be simple everytime i do it i break the fans there is almost no chance of saving them. this way it makes it a lot easier to remove and replace it.

Any idea on a ballpark cost for one of those motors and a set of fans?

i dont think it should be any more than 150 it's nothing crazy i dont know my prices differ being a shop and all so i don't know what they charge just off the street. but try to bring them down in price they have a lot of room.
