I waited a month and a half I believe for a flat. They'll tell you before your even on the list of your good to go. It's just that slow. I was a week away from getting my own Great Dane here in Orlando. I was already set up with financing but I wanted mercer deal because it was really no interest rate going with mercer that was a deal breaker and I guess my patience paid off. But I don't think I would've let two months go by though. I was a company driver ready to get started

Mercer doesn't care where you get your truck or trailer from. So yes, a person can rent a trailer from a leasing company.

Has to be new enough to hook an elog up to the ecm. So early 90s for Detroit(ddec 2)and Cummins (n14). 96 or so for cat (3406e)

They say 97 or newer but I was told as long as it has a ecm and a decent paint job (no fading or peeling) and can pass their meticulous DOT inspection then you could lease it on

Spyder beat me to it lol

My truck is a 1996 and they didn't have ANY problem with me bringing this: 1996 T6002.jpg
But, as you can see, my truck is SUPER clean and well cared for.

    VdotFoxx Thanks this.
