I've seen this in for sale listings a couple of times lately. Why would anyone need this? Cab heat doesn't work?

Twin stacks - twin heaters, duallies, twins . . . . some things are just better when there's 2 of them.

My thought is that they mean it had both the engine coolant heater, and the bunk heater. They are two separate units.

My engine heater is nowhere near my bunk heater.

Maybe he skimped out on insulation ans needs two to stay warm. Or he just enjoys mini dual stacks for his heat.

I know the engine heater is in the engine compartment and the bunk Heater is in the bunk.
The coolant heater only heats the engine and pumps the coolant for two hours. The bunk heater only heats the air, and will run all weekend without killing your batteries.
The Proheats were an all-in-one unit that heated the coolant only, then you had to run your bunk fan to blow warm air into the sleeper. You were lucky to get eight hours out of those before your batteries died.

I have dual webastos one for the cab and one for the engine, the engine one is more problematic had to do O rings job twice.

Other than that they are trouble free devices.

There is nothing better than starting my week monday morning in a warm cab in sub zero temp.
