I will be starting my career with walmart jan 11th is when class starts . I got the final phone call today for the job offer . Im exitced to begin my career with walmart . Its always been a dream of mine to drive for walmart one day. I will be out of the Bentonville ar dc.

 

Where do the loads for walmart mainly go to out of the Bentonville dc . Do they usually go to a certain area or just where ever ?

Well guys I got a setback that's got me disgusted!! My previous employer sent back the form to WM with a preventable accident that occurred on 11/10/12.

I had no clue what recruiting was talking about I've never had a PA!! When I heard date I started thinking, it's a fuel mix I had on my first night out of training (tanker internal valve stuck) so i loaded product on top of another at a rack, I was in a hurry. My fault!! Well I talked to Recruiter they are not concerned of the mix just if It was while driving.

So great.. now I've sent over rebuttal forms and can't get in touch with previous employer to get them to verify it was not a WHILE Driving accident. Crazy thing is If I would have waited a week before I sent my app to walmart it wouldn't matter as it would be over 3 yrs old.. if I didn't have bad luck I'd have none at all

 

Wow Dboy that stinks. I hope that you can get it resolved it's sure worth the effort. Don't give up and please keep us posted.

 

Thanks man, I went ahead and applied for another DC (searcy, AR). I really hope my previous company does the right thing and let's WM know it was not a driving error. I gave that company a months notice before coming to work where I'm at now. Even volunteered to work an extra day (4th of July) last week on job. They pretty much begged me to stay lol
