After driving all night from Sunday till Monday, delivered a load in up state NY near VT... then drove to a truck stop in NY... DSP though she had 2 loads for me that would keep me busy thru Christmas but they all fell apart. And here I sit....

It wasn't raining yesterday... but today... yes... Ugly and cold out there...
I have plenty to do in the truck... online searches, magazines to read, and should do some physical exercises... noticed lately that I lost a lot of muscle strength... :biggrin_25510:

I'm in Golden valley,MN. Cold a little snow here and there. Headed to Wisconsin to grab a load headed for home in NY. It will be 60 degrees Christmas eve and rain. Santa will have to switch to pontoons for landing gear.

And dsp got me a load... did her best to keep me busy thru Christmas... Will pick up tomorrow in Vermont and deliver in Fontana, CA... :yes2557: And she also routed me thru Wichita, KS so I don't have to go thru that nasty weather in IA, NE, CO and UT...

The truck stop here has a nice cafe and a big variety of meals... from breakfast to lunch, deserts, omelets, side dishes, sandwiches and subs, salads, chicken wings, etc... I don't eat any of that... cause I am lacto-vegetarian... But got me a simple salad... and brought it to the truck... Added some olive oil, pepper, soy sauce and had that with the meal that I cooked a couple days ago...

He hit me before I even got to Humble. Got a drum in Pasadena and delivered it on Washington Ave. Then to Stafford for a pallet going to a ship at the Port of Freeport. Then all the way to North Conroe for two a pallets of flammable 3 going to Ceva. Lotta miles. Got home a wee bit after 8pm. Going to bed pretty much after I hit post.

No , not busy at all. Getting layed off in March. Got told just recently 3 months notice on loss of job. At least I know and can plan for it. Lot of people find out the day before they get layed off.
