Sometimes if I'm being tailgated I'll ride the rumble strips to annoy them with the noise... usually works. Only if the rumble strips are close to the edge of the lane, though. If they're halfway onto the shoulder, like some states do, I don't do it.

Most states are grooving the concrete longitudinally, or if they still run the grooves across (transverse) they've got the spacing randomized, so it doesn't make a perceivable sound. Other states space the grooves so close together that you can't really hear anything at speed. I miss the old light whistle. I think Texas might be the only state left that still lays down concrete pavements that whistle.

I'd say it's a high probability he had his eyeballs on his phone screen. Facebookin' , or You Yubin'.

Continuous drifting is a derivative of inattention.

I'll do it if you're behind me, or next to me for a while. If I get really annoyed i will fish tail the trailer all over the plae just to get your away from me.

A buddy of mine named the trailer wiggle trick the "Flea Flicker." It's especially effective with a set, but probably best used only when the rear box is significantly lighter than the lead.

For folks camping out on my left side, I turn the wipers on high and blast the washer fluid. That makes 'em move quick.

I just don't get it. It's either they ate like a fly on your back, or by any means necessary must get in front of you. sometimes I'll just give a deep state to the passanger if they're hanging next to my cab. That gets them moving!

Only thing the rumble strip is good for is catching a nice bolt or nail that shuts you down for 2 hours as you get it repaired.

I think he was either messing with his phone or was trying to flip rocks at you for following too close.
