Be Safe Out There
Captain DaveGoGetta07, drvrtech77 and Dh46 Thank this. -
Thanks guys appreciate it all

His time frame is accurate, BUT the 45 day payment occurs 45 days after the "contract" is signed(to the nearest following payday), all other payments get based off that 45 day mark. Meaning 90 days after the first payment you get one ,6 months after the 1st payment you get one, etc. So really it pays out over all at a year and 45 days.
You should receive a payment schedule as part of this agreement that lists each payout date with the corresponding percentage.AM14, Dh46 and White_Knuckle_Newbie Thank this. -
Honestly, if you have a clean record with 3 years experience, Wal-Mart changed their guidelines of hiring a year or so ago from needing 250+ clean otr miles to just time driving clean. I would try applying for their private fleet before any position at SchneiderDh46 Thanks this.

If you qualify for these guidelines, I would just forget sni existed.

Another driver on here got rejected by Walmart because he didn't have 250,000 OTR miles... If even know he's been driving a big commercial truck for that long and more...

What kind of miles is otr Schneider drivers getting trying to get a base pay idea 0.38 is what they giving me thinking 2500 miles seems doable I don't see why 3k couldn't be reasonable as long as u sleep at load and unloading and not wasting ur time doing stupid things is this unreasonable thinking or is 3k or 2500 to much more like 2k just trying to have a idea of what to expect

As far as their criteria they have on their website, it doesn't say that. But I know it used to. If that's how it is, oh well. It's just a suggestion. Never know until you apply.
If you keep your available times updated and current as otr, and in my experience for the last 2 years, they will keep you rolling. You will have times where you will be stuck in a dock for hours but other instances like that and the occasional PM on your truck and sorts, you should get miles with no problem. I'm out of Charlotte and I've been everywhere except 6 states(Oregon, Montana, north Dakota, Colorado, Idaho, Washington state) and I take 10-14 hours off each day unless I've gotta move to be on time or I'm going home. I ran 3100 miles the week of thanksgiving. But averaging 2500mi a 7 day period is 357mi which in my opinion is really low. Aim to average 450-500 in a 7 day period, and you'll clear 1k net easily. Adjust your times to run before and during business hours and be available Mondays with good hours. All that also depends on how much you want to be home. -
No problem getting the bonus, first 20 percent at 45 days after date of hire, then at 90, then at 180, then at one year.
OTR is a choice.
How about Target dedicated?
2,500 miles per week, average weekly gross $950. Mileage starts at 36 per mile, but accessory pays put the money on track to get about $53K first year out of the gate (with the bonus). No joke. As long as you're an adult and do your job safely and on time, it's a good gig.
Workflow: Pick up trailer, run to store, double drop and hook, back with MT trailer or a lightly loaded trailer (recycling and pallets).
Really. What's not to like?
Plus, if you live near the DC, you can get home often and 34 at home.
The dedicated accounts are where it's at, driver.
