It's hard to explain to people how things work here. But think about this. If you are happy with a load you picked up from Mercer in the past. It was a load we all said no to already. If you haven't, you should read our main thread.

The last load I did for them was coming out of Florida an it paid 1.90 going over to Texas. Twic load. Most of the land star loads I've pulled have averaged around 2.00-2.60 a mile. just no consistency though. But yea I kinda figured the public board rates were chopped up 2-3 times before it got down to the driver. -
LOL. Not sure that's a good theory. But I did just buy this..

Bah. its an aero truck. Might as well buy an old worn out Columbia with different colored doors. i would be ashamed to park that in the same lot as all the stretched out 379s we got here.
CJndaTruck Thanks this. -
I bought a 12 cascadia about 6 moths ago an sold my Pete. Major power difference lol...however I've never seen a truck I can throw 50 gallons in an it seems like it rides for days an squeezes every mpg out of those 50 gallons. -

I admit they are very comfortable an you can't beat the ride!...but it's not a very practical truck for a guy who's trying to minimize as much overhead as he can.
After the shop told me it was gonna be close to 28k to put a new engine in my Pete I told them to put the old motor back together the best they could an I sold the hell out of it! -
Twenty eight grand? Wtf. You can get a crate engine for that. Complete!
jacquesi23 Thanks this.
