@Vilhiem is a current driver out of Atlanta. He might be better than I. Been a couple years. Some things may have changed some.

    Oh. Well. Ok then.

Umm , I worked out of Columbus. On the surface it looks like 1/2 of it is night driving. I chose to try to get home every day so for me it was. I would pick up with enough time to make on time to the first stop and leave some room for a cat nap too. Loads were ready in the afternoon I never hooked until it was time to roll. I exeperienced varied start times due to this. From 2100 to 0600. Most often I started at 0200 or so.

Other guys utilized their 14 to its fullest and would sleep on the road. It let them pick up next load on return and start driving to the 1st stop. They had a more normal sleep schedule. That also helped during the summer when they didnt have to try to rest in the heat of the day.

It is a decent account that pays pretty good for a little bit of physical work. Driver gets stop pay(begins at stop #2) unload pay( thought it was low myself) and about 2k miles a week. They recently bumped pay across the board on that gig , but I was averagiing 950 or so gross a week. That was at .32cpm. Driver unlopad and the stop pay made up fopr the lower pay. Thats changed now wiyh the increase. Just better all around. @jakecat22 can speak better on that. He just came off it.

It need noted that the pay may be different for the different dc's/regions.

IMO, if you can get on, its a good one to start out with making decent enough pay with goood opportunity to get home through the week if you live close enough to the dc. I deliver near there on my account now sometimes. About a mile off 77 to the east on US 70.

Ask your questions, will tell what I know.

I am considering this one and another local type gig around Columbus. Do you get a dedicated truck on this account?
