have you thought about going over to Holland?

 

I know a couple of drivers from there that I keep in contact with, just usual trucker stuff. Basically I've been avoiding the "family feud" going on between the two companies. haven't made a decision so far until I talk to people. just trying to keep my head above water for now until I know what options I might have.

 

Mike Is a straight up D**khead and a liar. I learned real quick watching him talk smack about drivers as soon as they left the room. He feeds you full of bs then stabs you in the back. .. Dude you must really have a bad record if you can't get a better job elsewhere. Lol. .. Surely you don't have to keep eating that crap they are feeding the drivers. .. I told them straight up how I felt about the way they test drivers and run the Biz. Of course it didn't phase them any. But I still told them. Lol. .. I wish you the best. Really hope you find a better situation. It's never gonna get better for you there. .. The moment they showed me the driver is just a truck number and means nothing to them I couldn't drive another Mile

 

I have a good record, just my plans that I'm trying to keep intact. I've got a few ideas in mind. Just been reluctant to switch jobs too early. When that buyout occurred at my old place they terminated all the drivers then rehired them onto the company that bought them, and it really screwed some peoples job histories up.

 

Also after reading that it's put the situation here in a new light for me. A company that has that kind of attitude towards it drivers doesnt deserve anyone's loyalty. Ever since this split up happened I heard a lot, but now it sounds like there is a lot more than what I've heard within this company. Up until last month I was hell-bent on staying here because I was tired of getting screwed at past companies. Now it feels like a totally different place than what I started with back in April.

 

I know man. Sucks going thru that crap and trying to find the right place that cares and fits well

 

I was just hacking at ya. .. Trying to lighten your situation. .. I couldn't put up with it. Once they showed their true colors I bailed.

 

it just seems harder and harder now to find a good company that values its drivers... It's just beyond ridiculous with GPT management has done...

 

It's past time to move this thread to the bad company forum.

 

I agree. Nothing good to be said anymore.
