This was what my response was too.
I did not take it as a comparison. If it was my fault for not reading it that way.

I never did understand if a driver or drivers get into accidents or do something wrong in general, how does telling everyone on the dbls board help anyone? Embarrassing to individuals the occurrences are happening to and in my own opinion, I really don't think it's any of my business to know that X driver hit another truck because he didn't do anything to prevent it.

I figured they were 100% oop by their cute little slogans on their trailers. Guess I was wrong. But my point still stands. I learned something though, thanks!

The loads on the Choice board ARE not ALL the loads available to SNI.

Company planners only take loads off the Choice board when needed to cover a company truck.

The Choice board has about 40% of Schneider available freight at any given time.

Yes in orientation they say it's all from the same board but in the real world it isnt.

Ever had a load saved to your favorites then it's just gone yet you never knew it confirmed. Taken by a planner for company side.

It's not terrible but by no means is it great.

Are you suggesting the drivers involved were named outright in these messages?

I have received plenty , but never were names involved and the content was geared towards reminding folks of best practices.

Who here remembers last year in late march getting the "frost law" messages? The first was sent about 2 hrs after I called in my ticket. I certainly hope other drivers saw that and used that info to seek out and steer clear of the weight restricted roads. In my particular case that county doesnt post roadside signage what is restricted , they arent required to by law. This is Michigan. So take heed, THAT circumstance in Mi and oher northern border states will be coming into effect soon enough. I will be interested to see if SNi is forward thinking this year in givng the heads up and direction on how to find the needed info.

I and 93B have used information from the IC load board to contradict support shifts "there's no freight". It is ridiculous that company drivers sit because SNI doesn't want to eat the deadhead - this can fall onto the dbl or the APM. Or worse because the computer says "no feasible solution" and instead of finding a way to make it work the APM just clicks ok and goes to the next driver. APMs are over relying on the dispatch software and not just thinking enough.

It's not about loading company trucks first (though that was Don's philosophy), it's about not having a load to back up the current assignment. Within two hours of.me accepting a preassignment I should be getting the next one until I'm booked at least 24 hours out. I know I that when I get to Neelys tomorrow I will get told to.pick up a load - after I've already hooked to my empty and out gating.

We have the freight, the APMs have the information but company trucks sit, or pass each other running empty, or any number of other idiotic scenarios.

Ah, a bad system run by the marginally qualified with little to absolutely zero clue about life behind the wheel.
Excellent input from one who knows the in's and out's.

Follow up question for Green Bay, any chance the dumpsters will be emptied in the near future at French Camp? Locals say it has been over a month.
