Just make sure to be careful around Charlotte where the thirsty company drivers and kids learning to drive are. Had to threaten to knock ones teeth in after I stepped away to use the restroom to be told by my wife he was harassing her.
Questions for management.

Thats when you quietly ask , "have you done the sexual harrassment training yet?" Followed by "who is your class leader?"Last edited: Jan 21, 2016

Good point. I usually can come up with ways of not turning a situation hostile but when it comes to my wife, that all goes out the window. Very good point and idea for sure.scythe08, gentleroger, PoleCrusher and 1 other person Thank this.

"Yes, I have been thoroughly trained in sexual harassment!" is what I remind my wife of on a regular basis.lovesthedrive and mickeyrat Thank this.

Received 2 "Urgent" messages today on I-15 in central Utah. Having never seen a message with that label I pulled off the interstate and read that the east coast was going to get slammed later today. As if someone might be unaware.
No sure why the west of Mississippi crew gets this message but a couple of days ago there was nothing about big pile up on Cabbage.
A simple filter could keep these open pronouncements delivered to the appropriate tractors while not bothering those who aren't impacted.
I especially love messages telling me Atlanta or Gary fuel islands will be down for a few hours.Last edited: Jan 22, 2016

I'm curious why a definite closure was buried in the body of a largely repeat message from earlier.
At a minimum it could have been the lead or all caps or some other kind of attention grabber. #### all of the above.Little Eddy Thanks this. -
One time I picked up a load in San Jose and was driving down the 5. Stopped at the pilot in lost hills ca for a shower and 30 minute break. Got back to the truck to this message:
"You are currently stopped at a high risk/theft location! If you plan on taking a 10 hour break move your truck immediately! Go to the next TA for a safe parking location". Paranoid much?Little Eddy Thanks this. -
And this "dangerous " location is the preferred fueling solution. The worst part of Lost Hills is watching your 14 melt while waiting and waiting and waiting for an island to open up. This begs the question...if it's such a high risk why do you want us to fuel there? And if the Wheeler Ridge TA is safer wouldn't it help the drivers out to have them fuel there and earn a shower?
Nowadays I use 99 at least to Stockton for a better road and less ###### drivers.gentleroger and stevep1977 Thank this. -
Eddy......there are different qcoms, but with mine, you can push the home button (the one that looks like a little house, for our friends in Rio Linda), and then push the big dot in between the arrow buttons and the message will read over your loud speakers. The left and right arrows will either advance to the next message, or go back to the previous. No need to stop.......fyiHome_on_wheels, Little Eddy and PoleCrusher Thank this.

You may need to press and hold the talking head button to activate text to speech first.
