What's the average gross income of the brokers you know? Can you answer that?

 

I booked a load from CHRW last week that paid $1,100 on 192 loaded miles and noticed they broke out zero of that for a surcharge. #### thieves!

 

That's 3 times more than I'll make, aND never seeing home because nothing pays enough to keep me from going negative when I go home. Maybe it's the way I operate, but I am pulling loads that need pulled, I'm just not making anything doing it. Does the broker stand a chance to go into negative numbers at all, that he MUST take lower pay? If not, then the whole system needs changed so that I don't have to be subservient to you.

 

Don't use brokers I dead head before using them. I deal with customers. If others would do the same .maybe the broker would go broke !!

 

That's what I want, but I'm leasing this truck and working for a company. My credit is about to see dramatic improvement tho, maybe soon I can join you in breaking brokers

I just like to stir up some #### about brokers every now and then.

 

it is pretty funny watching a broker get riled up. I don't touch much brokered freight and I only have 1 broker that I use and the broker owns the trailers I pull so it works out pretty well. I make money he makes money, he pays me daily for the work that I do as soon as he gets the bills. Truth be told he's the only broker I've ever used that I havn't asked to show me what they're billing the customer. I trust him he's only screwed up 2 checks 1 he over paid me by $50 that week, the other he shorted me $140 and put it on the next day. So I can't complain
