That happened to one of my co-workers the other night. Took out the same stuff as you and also punctured both freshly filled fuel tanks. And strangely enough, he was in OH too, but on US23.

travel oasis cracked me up

Been in my door since 4 A.M. at MBM Ft Worth. Still haven't been touched. Hurry up and wait....
-
Does Magnum let you carry protection if you have a comcealed carry permit?
-
Spent The Night At The Shipper. Got loaded and left 3 1/2 hours before appt time. Now trying to get delivery moved up a day.
-
Concealed carry is by state, lots of states do not recognize each others permits and will arrest you for transporting firearms, company policy or not.
-
Lucky you. I got here early as well, been sitting at the door for 45 minutes, and nothing. I am just gonna tell Matt not to expect me available until Thursday. Why kill myself to bust out there just to hear those familiar words..."we're working on a load for ya', we'll let you know". Then have to sit until Thursday anyway. This place is making me lazy!
-
I am aware of that. Mine is accepted in the majority of states and I know which ones aren't. I was asking if Magnum allowed a driver to carry.
-
No. A lot of the customers have signs up saying no firearms allowed.Pigbacon Thanks this.

Technically, no. Practically?.... Personally I don't because we get routed to Chicago and New Jersey regularly. Regardless of any job pressures, it's a FELONY INVOLVING JAIL TIME if you get caught with one in either place.
I took a long hard look at the odds and figured I was more likely to get an overzealous cop with a "drug sniffing" (meaning illegal search) dog than I was to need my gun(s) for self defense.
We do reefer. Realistically, it's very unlikely to get hijacked doing reefer and I've always found a place to park that wasn't so creepy I wanted my gun (other than on general principles.)
While I'm an ardent supporter of gun rights, for me, the calculus doesn't work. I've taught defensive firearms classes for 10 years. You'll find no bigger advocate of armed citizens. But for truckers going to commie states like Mass, NJ, IL, NY, the penalties for getting caught are so draconian that I judge it better for me to just keep a tire iron by the bunk. YMMV of course.tallinthesaddle4life, scottlav46 and Pigbacon Thank this.
