Not 100% sure but I would say rails. If you are by a port then maybe.

Rails, for sure in Chicago......so does Hogan, CR England, Prime and Boyd....

They do both. Depends on location though... I have a buddy who is leasing to them (running a day cab) who runs containers in/out of the port in Long Beach throughout most of SoCal. The majority of their intermodal folks work the rail but you'll see them at the ports too from time to time.

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to call around tomorrow see what they have available in florida, Florida seems like a dry market but I'll give it a shot
RookieJ1987 Thanks this. -
they run out of the rails in my area they are also increasing the use of dry vans on the rail also you can see it due to the increase # of accidents and really bad parking at the rail

Florida is verrrryyy dry on the Intermodal side of SWIFT. I worked out of the Harrisburg, PA, Charlotte, NC and Kearny, NJ all three are the busiest for SWIFT. Best money i ever made when I drove for them. But Florida is the worst. if you hauled 2 at least two boxes consider yourself lucky!
