I know coming across I-80 in Nevada there were some slickery spots, the worst was around Winnemucca, the slow lane was a sheen of white ice. There was a 4 wheeler on it getting squirrelly. I went out to the hammer lane which was nice and scraped off but another truck was right on my tail like it was a summer day or something. then further on down the highway I saw two different ditch rescues in progress.
CHAINING...are you ready?

ran up to Alliance, Ne this morning, N.E. Colorado wasn't bad, but from the state line to about Dalton, Ne. the road was rough, snowpacked, icy, rutted, going through Sidney was driving on a dirt road. Wyo. is closed again 80 and 25 due to high winds, ground blizzards, probably be next week before everything clears up 100%.

I have a load from Chicago to Livermore CA. Decided to go around the longer way dipping down to I-40 then back up. Renting a truck while mine's in the shop, the tires are 11R22.5 not sure if my lopro chains would fit or not, not in the mood to find out or buy new chains that I might not be able to use later on mine.
