Get full grain leather gloves on amazon, they last me 8 months to a year. Supposedly can be waterproofed with some kinda leather oil.

Do not get any "mechanics" gloves and lots of gloves are made of scrap low quality leather, these are the turds that die out in a month.

I buy the Midwest Gloves from Wal-Mart which last for about two months. Much better than Wells Lamont and they run about $9 per pair. But I like some of the other suggestions here and will be looking at a few. The problem I have with any of the gloves I have used is the thumbs are the first to go, either by a hold in the thumb print or the seams give out.

Wells Lamont I can get 10 pair for $14 so I really don't care if they only last a month.

lasting a month is good i.mo. I buy from harbor freight a pack of 6 for about a buck apiece on sale. get 30 pair at a time. I also use the p.v.c. coated ones too.

I lost faith in long lasting gloves awhile back, I get whats comfortable, as many or as little as needed.
