Yes and a lot of ice cream hit store freezers that was not in it's best condition but it was what it was. But today's consumer won't put up with a third of what consumers in the 50's put up with.

Consumers in the 50's-60's used the 'ol ice box. (buy a block of ice to keep ur stuff cool) -20 is a relative recent...even still today there are trailers w/pull downs to -5 in use)

Back in the day that was good enough and agree that older trailers can do the job. BUT, it is the shippers that will refuse a trailer THEY don't think is fit for the job no matter what we think.

We used to have dial-up internet and 14k modems not too long ago, too. So what's your point? You was happy with that then, so you should be allowed to host web sites with those today?

You want to keep your old trailer and unit, that's fine but understand some shippers will not be as "understanding"

Well, in the 50's, you didn't buy a 1/2 gallon of ice cream or two and take it home to sit in the freezer for a week. If you wanted ice cream, you went to an ice cream parlor, as a treat. Or you drug out the crank ice cream maker and made your own in the summer.

Recall, Contracts may be direct with a shipper or thru the spot market. If, your working under direct contract, im pretty sure those concerns were spelled out. (trl's w/-20 only use). Spot Market- the owner operator calls in and states what they have available -5...good enuff, (establishing performance expectations are so important). nice
