I've been researching this trucking business for a while now & narrowed it down to these companies.
Anyone have any experience with either of them?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know much about KLLM/FFE, but what I know about Prime is this: they push their lease program on new drivers and trainees, which is a bad idea for anyone but especially those with no experience. In addition, you'll typically be in the slowest moving trucks on the road for the sake of fuel economy. Not something I'd be cool with - 62 mph for the first year with Millis was slow enough, but Prime's 58mph is ridiculous.

The point is you dont go to one company and ask about two other companies...maybe trucking isnt a good fit for you

I worked for Prime for almost 6 months; no one pushed the Lease program. Once I stated I wanted to go company, no one else mentioned the Lease program again.

I would say that Prime is an excellent place to get get your CDL and gain some experience. The facilities are top notch. There equipment is very good. They pay, I believe to be the best while you are in training.

And Prime is 62 mph for company trucks on cruise control, foot on the pedal its 58 mph. They take safety and fuel economy very seriously and you are compensated well for your performance on both.
