Yep saw multiple spin outs from Detroit to Chicago and Chicago to St Louis. This happened on I-55 southbound yesterday, I think this guy got mixed up with the other 2 cars and went into the median then he turned right in front of me.

I remember in about 77 or 78, Ice was on the roads going to Dallas, & ice was way out the other side of Fort Worth. It was a very long drive, yet I made it.
But if I wanted to wreck in the median going through Dallas & Fort Worth, I would have had to call ahead and reserve me a spot, for the sides and medians were plumb full of wrecks.
I remember that year many wrecker companies bought brand new fancy wreckers. That summer they had them setting outside showing off their beautiful fancy wreckers. For they made lots of money, yet did not make money off of me.
I remember several semi-trucks that passed me, going 60 MPH are much faster, that slid off of the highway and wrecked. And there were many 4 wheeler's that passed me that were going very fast too that went into the median or off the right side of the interstate!
I stayed at 25 to 35 MPH and fortunately I did not slid off of I-30 or I-20. -
People don't get that a dusting of snow can be very slippery... And they just keep on the gas.
Sometimes I feel safer with 1/2 a foot on the road.tinytim, Lepton1, ‘Olhand and 1 other person Thank this. -
Dispatch offered me the night off last night because of slow freight, so I took it. I live about 10 miles from the 74 pileup. They called back about 2 hrs later to see if I wanted to run, but I was already in bed snuggled up to the wife. On Valentine's Day. So...no.
