HOS Reset Rule

Back then. There was no clock. And you could split your sleeper and driving. A driver could drive and sleep when he wanted. Freedom without a stopwatch. Or a machine.

 

Stopping for 3 hours during your 14 makes a 13 hour break when it is all settled up. What i would like to see and totally doable under the Elog mandate, would be an option to split break however we want like 2/8 3/7 4/6 or 5/5. Since we'll all be on Elogs anyway, DOT people can concentrate on things like burned out lights of slick tires and allow us to run our work day that best suits each of us.

 

I'd like them to take those HoS rules and the little machine and shove them up Scott Darling's backside.

 

If they would just get rid of the 14, and no computer, I wouldn't have a problem with the hos rules. That would actually make since, so we all know that won't happen. .....
