A pplan came in at 0700 this morning.
It doesn't pick up until 0700 tomorrow morning so I'll be sitting all day. They avoided layover pay once again.

Sitting here in phoenix. Home request for Columbus on Monday. So far pplans have been flagstaff to Pruitt, terminal to San Diego and then Otay mesa to dallas and last Tolleson to dallas. No freight in Dallas to get me home, and it is the same planner sending me this. Strange that when out here no miles and when home request miles open up.
Finally got one that can live with. Pick up in Tolleson and deliver to St Louis on Monday. At least from there I know that I can get home, at least with a load that can t-call or maybe a trailer move to home if someone needs empty trailersLast edited: Feb 18, 2016

I got to my pick up this morning at around 0640, they open at 0700.
Another Swift pulled in just before 0700.
Since I was first in line I got the first dock.
That place was not made for trailers, of any size. Once backed in to the dock you can't get out if there is a trailer next to you.
And I don't mean a tractor/trailer, I mean simply a trailer.
So I went in first and took the first available dock, and the second Swift took the one to the left of me.
After I was loaded I had to wait for him to be loaded and pull out before I could pull out.
There was a trailer to my right, but there wasn't enough space to pull out. I was stuck there.
Still, it could have been worse.
I might have been short on time, but I have plenty of time on this load.
They could have taken hours to load a trailer, but that wasn't the case.
1.5 hours from docking to pulling out.
Both of us are delivering to the same place, his appointment 1 hour after mine. But he is a mentor and running as a team, so he will be going to Phoenix to t-call the load. At least, that's his plan. -
Moose are we still two ships in the night? ... I'll be heading down the 40 from OKC to Memphis tomorrow, then PU in MS heading for SoCal.

Dancing Eagle Casino. On my way to St. Louis. Going to go a little out of route. About 6 miles different from the GPS routing. It has me taking US-54 again from Tucumcari to Witchita. Only 6 miles more staying on 40 to OKC and then up 44. DM told me this morning that he would have me preplanned on a load out of St Louis by this afternoon heading home to Columbus on Monday. This afternoon tells me that still working on it and no plan. I have a bad feeling come Monday.

Love's in Oak Creek, WI, damnable cold has had me messed up for three days.

I went through OKC this afternoon and I'm headed to City of Industry, CA for a Monday 1130 live unload.
I'm currently at the Flying J on I-40, exit 20 in OK.
Then around 500 miles each for Saturday and Sunday, and the rest Monday morning.
I made a short day of it today to do some laundry and get a good parking spot.
It's nice to be up front from time to time.
One of these days our ships will pull in to the same harbor. -
Moose, we'll cross paths sometime sometime today, I'm coming out of Laughlin NV then going east on I-40 shooting for Santa Rosa NM or San Jon NM today.
-
I should be going through Santa Rosa around 1130 tomorrow.
-
I should be stopping around Sayre, Oklahoma tonight.
