I'm out here just up the hill from you. But I have been having to pass on loads not sit. Bakersfield isn't the best spot but just north of there are a few good paying customers.

I will say that if your just getting to cali the wait might be a bit. But last I saw there are not a lot of trucks out here compared to normal.

I hope the app keeps track of IFTA miles better than it handles logs. Since I signed the "new" contract, probably 1/4 of my logs have gone missing. Still sending signed bills in with Trip-pac in cab scanner, don't want the bills to go missing into thin air.

I ran Delvac for years. I could buy jugs of oil cheap at my company for topping off.
Then they switched to Rotella, so I started topping off my Delvac with Rotella. Well , some kinda weird chemical reaction took place and weakened the connecting rods and one broke , costing me $35k for an overhaul and a bunch lost income.

OK , I made up that last part. Truck has 1.1 million miles . Runs fine.

Imho, oil is oil, just make sure you got some in there. And reasonably clean. Just my opinion.

The only ELD issues I have had are with it connecting via Bluetooth to the truck. It use to drive me nuts until I realized if I turn off the BT on the rest of my devices it would hook right up. I have never had a lost log issue. And taking a pic of the bills with the app is supper easy. But I can understand the hesitation in making a switch like that when it is about money. I do get paid in under 15 mins now with the app. Not that that makes a big difference as getting paid around here has never been an issue.

Been using the app for BOL and like CJ said I'm paid within 30 min or less. It has a notification feature that shows you it's being processed and usually at that point I get my settlement shortly after
