I've had a agent tell me they are a agent for 3 open deck carriers, and it's been posted on here more than once that some are agents for multiple carries. It's like that throughout trucking, agents work for themselves and tender loads to multiple carriers.
I'm not suggesting it's a bad thing either, cause it's not, it's actually pretty common in trucking!

I just have 1 question. Where can I go and get a DOT physical in Louisville. Mine has 5 months on it left and the recruiter said I needed a new one. Any ideas on where I can go? Thank you

search in the DOT medical registry ... simple.

When in Louisville, Mercer uses OPS. Occupational Physicians Services. Only cost $30 bucks. It can take several hours.

Well took my first load with Mercer out west. Going to Utah. Question why would foam load 8ft tall only need 4ft tarps?
-
I haven't looked today but the other day they had some pretty good loads coming out of UT. For half a second I almost grabbed one willing to DH from Cali to get it. Then I wised up. But for a moment......
But honestly give the agent a heads up there. They are super nice and easy to work with and have some good customers. They also put together some great LTL loads if you ever run those.whoopNride Thanks this. -
Thanks will do seen some decent ones but need one for Monday? Maybe depends how fast I wanna del lol. How much are the snow socks? I need to get some chins or some snow socks if I can find em.

I don't know, may depend on how far it's going. I'm used to having to fully tarp them, however, the load of foam I just ran, they only wanted smoke tarped. I asked if I had to since I don't have stacks. They said "yes, it's to protect it from the wind." I already knew that's why we tarp them, so I asked them back, "ok, I get that, but usually we fully tarp them, so why only a smoke tarp?" They looked at my bills and replied "because you're only going 600 miles, any futter and you wold have had to fully tarp it." It blew my mind because that's still a long way to go unprotected, but hey it was their product. There was no damage when I got to the other end this morning, but I'm still surprised by it.MarkH83 and CJndaTruck Thank this.

Further. Would. Stupid autocorrect fixes words it doesn't need to and doesn't fix the ones it does
