Can I talk to someone who can answer the question please?

Corporate Lodging Consultants negotiates rates with participating hotels. Companies that pay for their employees' hotel stays can take advantage of these reduced rates, with CLC taking their cut of course. Company pays CLC, CLC pays hotel.

My company has a list of 'approved' hotels, meaning the rate is acceptable. I can log into CLC's website or use their mobile app, but it only shows the hotels that are approved by my company. I always call around. I don't think I have ever used a hotel on that list. My immediate managers tell us to stay wherever we want as long as they take CLC. We don't have to stay in a dive. I've used hotels that had a CLC rate of over $100, but usually they're in the $45-60 range.

It's free to me, but not to my employer. Some hotels will give rewards points with CLC, some won't.

Ive had a truck and trailer at a microtel in Beckley WV. Mgt even put me in a room where i had good view just in case someone messed with it. A good bit of wyndham hotels allow truck parking go to there main website and when you do a search just make sure you have truck parking ticked and also call the hotel too make sure they allow truck parking.

Wyndham and Choice typically have the most tractor-trailer parking but don't have high quality standards. Red Roof, Best Western, LaQuinta sometimes have tractor-trailer parking nearby or onsite, but their rewards programs are a ripoff. Most of the other chains will allow bobtail parking if it's not in a downtown location obviously. I tend to be most loyal to IHG which includes Holiday Inn Express and the luxury chain Intercontinental (the splurge palace). If you get a credit card affiliated with the chain you can rack up a decent amount of points and automatically have elite status with the chain. I get about 10 free nights a year with IHG mostly from credit card points and probably only pay out of pocket about 5 nights a year at IHG properties

I absolutely agree with this one. I use the CLC app and I have found hotels that claim to have truck parking, but once I get there I can't seem to find it. It seems like some hotels will have "truck parking" on their CLC listing, but they must be thinking about box trucks or U-Hauls. I usually have better results if their CLC listing says "reefer parking" or "auto carrier parking" - those properties generally have a separate designated truck parking area. But when in doubt I pull out Google Maps and use the satellite view to eyeball the place first.

As far as reward points, I generally stay with Choice Hotels or Holiday Inn, but a lot of those properties will not give you reward points if you are on CLC. But quite honestly, I end up giving away most of my reward nights to friends and family. As much time as I spend in hotels, that's not exactly my idea of a good time when I am off the truck.

I always say semi parking. Cuz if your not a truck driver. You wont know the difference between a truck and a pickup. But they always know what a semi is.
