Celadon Must Face Claims for Millions of Dollars

When I was with a big company, it stated right in my lease agreement that I would receive a discount price at certain fuel stops..
But it also said in the fine print that they can and will hold some as a processing fee.. So that means you will not get the full discount.
Wonder if that is in their contract as well

 

I know for a fact that Knight was charging one amount and paying out another.

 

Im a company who trained with a lease op, have pulled a few recovery leased trucks(overlooking the contracts dealing with the truck & driver) 695 a week for the truck only(2013-15 t680, 800 a week for a lonestar same years, no petes, no west stars, barely any freights, no warranty, as is)... HA!!! Kiss my ###!!! And fuel is $2+ a gal. Quality, Celadon, Osborn, Eagle, all of them are a ####ing joke

 

Most of the megas only offer .5 .10 fuel discount and we all know they are getting
It at cost+x amount and it's a heck of a lot better than the .5 .10 off they giving their contractors.. guesstimate they gonna make 20 30 on the low side and 30 50 off on high side per gallon every time you swipe.. I'm suprised a lot of these outfits even run company trucks anymore with how profitable these fleece scams are and how many folks lining up to do em year after year..

Maybe Celadon was just trying to recoup some of the money Brother Jimmie's company was screwing them out of with his Flying Pilot's fuel discount scam. Oh wait...according to his lawyers, he didn't know anything about that...

 

Well ####. This puts me off Celadon entirely.

 

The trucking industry has gone straight in the toilet since the mafia got out of it . lol
