I have found a 98 kw t2000 with a m11....this would be my first truck. I typically haul from Indiana to Oregon with loads ranging from 5000lbs-25000lbs and approximately 80,000 of potatoes back. I am wondering if this would be a decent truck and what your opinions are on the motor and fuel economy.

I always say go big or go home.
Thinking you might be a little frustrated grossing 80k of taters back home with the M11.
What are some of the other specs?

    BoxCarKidd Thanks this.

I 3rd that! I wouldn't want to do OTR especially in mountainous areas without at least 475 HP. I know it is being done with low horsepower, but why not just buy a truck that is designed to do the job? I had my ECM tuned by Rebel 127 and it is 525 to the wheels. Loaded heavy its nice not being underpowered on the hills. I still average almost 7MPG IFTA.

M11? Ugh it will do the job. But get used to swift passing ya. Just curious what did you pay for it?
Not advertising but i have a 97 century with a det and 13 speed. I no what the dealers offered me for trade (and i declined) but wondering what a local or 1st time truck buyer would pay.
