So which of the big three have the best rewards program. I'm thinking of maximizing my points by using mostly one of the three but not sure which would be best. Likely not going to purchase more than 1000 gallons this month as I'm on a dedicated run now. Thanks

They all suck. Just some less then others. Actually. They all suck period.
LGarrison, CJndaTruck and 4wayflashers Thank this. -
I think Love's are the best, and TA/Petro are the worst.
TA and Petro make it hard to use your points.
You have to print a coupon for a certain number of points at the kiosk. If your purchase is under the value of the coupon you lose the remainder. In the restaurant the points can not be used for the tip, so make sure you have at least enough cash to tip the waitress.
You also can not pay for the scale ticket with points at TA/Petro.
All the others let you do everything with a simple swipe of the rewards card. -
Are you paying for your own fuel? Does your company not have some kind of discount program setup through one of the major chains? If not, and you are paying pump price you can save a lot by keeping an eye on prices. For example. Tonight at the Petro in Spokane, wa diesel is 2.62. Loves at Ritzville, wa, about 50 miles down the road, their app is showing 2.02. You would need to buy 22 gallons to spend $13 on a shower to come out the same. Buy more fuel at Love's and pay for the shower and you are still ahead.

Good point about ta petro I do hate that kiosk. Didn't know you lose points if you have more than what you're buying.

My personal opinion is Love's. Unlimited drinks and showers for the following month after you purchase 1000 gallons this month.
The downside is due to the lack of showers, there can be a wait. -
I'm a company driver. But I can fuel at any of the big three, some speedways and some Wilco Hess.

Loves hands down! Running 2,492 miles per week on a dedicated route, I earn about $430 dollars per year in points. Bought a few GPS's, a couple of satellite radios, a CB, and fridge over the years. Sometimes I scale for the heck of it and of course I get reimbursed CASH on my paycheck as the scale ticket doesn't show method of payment. Bought some bulbs with my points once and turned the reciet in. They paid me but told me they preferred I didn't do that.
Also Loves will allow you to earn points on store purchases where all the others will only pay points on fuel. Pilot/Flying J offers "double points" a few months per year although I don't recall them doing it at all in 2015. Loves is very generous to repeat customers, offering 4 points for each gallon or dollar spent when you reach Diamond level.Last edited: Mar 2, 2016
