Thanks onetime. I was too lazy to go find it. I just have it on my phone

I've only been with one company and one training school. The school had a day or so on securement training (both deck and van) and the company did two days of in class orientation and I had about 5 weeks of hands on training.
I have no idea about the true "quality" of that training, but I have yet to have anything shift or come unsecure from the trailer (in almost a year of driving) and the company has won awards for quality of customer service from various Illinois/Michigan area steel manufacturers/fabricators.
So take that for what you will. I can't say who it is for the sake of just avoiding the hassle of it coming back to me and their strict social media policy, but they are fairly well known in central Canada, Ontario and the Great Lakes area US. And don't bother guessing, I won't confirm or deny. -
CRST is that strict on social media??

Last night I had one of those loads I mentioned earlier on this thread. After over securing my load, (they threw everything on the flatbed, even the kitchen sink). I went to go weigh it where I loaded, 36,300 on the trailer. Spent another two hours trying to get it adjusted right(trailer had no slider) and resecuring it. Aghhh.....you got to love......"Seriously "........
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
Spread axles are a pain in the ###, but worth it, especially in that situation! that extra 4000lbs is worth itblairandgretchen and Chewy352 Thank this.

I pull them all the time when there available. This particular trailer was a close tandem with no sliders. It was loaded already when I picked it up. Basically was stuck with it for that load. I been around long enough to make just about anything work.

Sounds like some of my loads over here (a lot of them actually ) overkill of 10 chains and 3 straps on 40k load of steel trusses from Laredo to Plainfield NJ, or even this light load of a/c units 6 chains on 3 pieces not even grossing 58k
