If the JCT truck ran into you, or something else, just who do you think would be legally at fault?

I know we are dealing with a generation(s) who will never accept responsibility for what they do, but if you are driving safely and legally, and you have the dash cam video and probably witnesses to boot, JCT and the other clueless people can whine all they like, but the hammer comes down on the dumbarse who was trying to squeeze by in the closing/closed lane.

It's sad some orange barrels may die, but better to get idiots off the road who do this.
Moving over onto the shoulder not only put you at risk, but allowed this jerk, (and too many jerks like him) to continue doing this.

A lot of the truckers responding here will always admire the outlaw spirit of JCT in the video. A driver like me is considered one who drank too much safety koolaid and will always be regarded as just another sucker who bought into the 'safety establishment'.

Scottie don't you see he wanted to get in front of you? he was willing to kil and die to get in front. That trumps your desire to be in front Scottie even though the law was on your side Scottie you have to see that running thes speed limit and staying inthe correct lane all the time will get people killed. I do not see a problem with you going the speed limit. Those truckers passing you that way remind me of how 4 wheelers drive. The jct driver cut you off....is that how professionals drive? I don't think so. He was being a dick and a moron.

Everyone agrees the driver in left lane is WRONG... Hell, I would send the clip to the company safety department and let them chew on the drivers ### a bit.

We are discussing defensive driving and safety when dealing with these azhats at the time.

You have mental issues? Almost EVERBODY here has CLEARLY stated that JCT was wrong.

An example of your logic:
Three lane road, 55mph. You are in lane three (right lane) at 55mph. You see a car get on the wrong way. You hold your speed and lane because you are all legal and in the right.

Head on collision and the $5 crackhead hoe meth-head dude (its a shemale?) gets the Darwin award. Your truck and trailer totaled. You, banged and bruised but you sit high and mighty in your throne of righteousness because you did nothing illegal.

And with that, I'm sure much to your delight, I will leave you and your various "See how good I am" threads alone.
